KOTA TINGGI: Five bodies, believed to be victims of a boat capsize incident within the waters of Tanjung Balau, right here, on Wednesday (Dec 15), have been found alongside the coastal space on Thursday (Dec 16) morning.
Johor Fire and Rescue Department Zone II chief Al Hasra Mohamad the bodies of three males and two girls, believed to be undocumented migrants have been found between 6.45am and seven.45am.
“The bodies have been found between 500ms and a couple of.5km from the scene,” he stated.
The bodies of 11 Indonesian nationals have been found alongside the Tanjung Balau seashore after the boat they have been on capsized because of excessive waves throughout dangerous climate early Wednesday morning.
14 different migrants on the boat have been rescued, with 25 more nonetheless lacking.
The boat was reportedly carrying 50 undocumented migrants from Lombok, Indonesia and the search and rescue operation continues to be ongoing to search out the remaining passengers.- Bernama
