Ti calls for more non-bumiputra youth involvement in govt-related programmes

KUANTAN: Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker (pic) has urged more non-bumiputra youths to return ahead and actively take part in programmes and actions organised by the federal government.

He stated the involvement of all ranges of society throughout the assorted races, religions and ages was wanted to make sure that the federal government’s targets in the implementation of its programme can be achieved.

“Every group has its personal strengths and higher success will be achieved if all events work collectively and cooperate,” he stated in a press release after officiating on the Bera district Malaysia Sports League (MSL) Basketball Championship in Kampung Baru Kerayong, Bera, Sunday (May 29).

For instance, Ti referred to the admission of trainees on the Youth and Sports Skills Training Institutes (ILKBS), which is in dire want of response from non-bumiputra youths because the coaching supplied is excellent and meets the wants of the business.
