(Reuters) – Twitter Chief Executive Parag Agrawal stated on Friday that he had introduced management changes and a hiring freeze to be able to “construct a stronger Twitter,” at the same time as the corporate is being acquired by billionaire Elon Musk.
“Some have been asking why a ‘lame-duck’ CEO would make these changes if we’re getting acquired anyway,” he wrote in a sequence of tweets. “While I anticipate the deal to shut, we have to be ready for all situations.”
