UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres believes Russia has violated the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine by recognizing two breakaway areas in japanese Ukraine as impartial entities on Monday, a U.N. spokesman stated.
“The United Nations, according to the related General Assembly resolutions, stays totally supportive of the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, inside its internationally acknowledged borders,” U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric stated in an announcement.
