The overwhelming majority of these fleeing war in Ukraine are heading to neighbouring Poland, and amongst them are Ukrainian children with cancer.
They’re being evacuated by the non-governmental group Herosi, co-ordinated by the US-based St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, who’re looking for the sufferers locations in medical care centres throughout Europe.
