LONDON (Reuters) – Ukraine will create an “IT military” to battle towards Russia’s digital intrusions, Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov stated on Saturday.
Ukraine has referred to as its hacker underground to assist shield important infrastructure and conduct cyber spying missions towards Russian troops, Reuters solely reported final week.
“We are creating an IT military,” Fedorov wrote in a Tweet that linked to a channel on the Telegram messaging app which revealed an inventory of distinguished Russian web sites.
“There will likely be duties for everybody. We proceed to battle on the cyber entrance. The first process is on the channel for cyber specialists,”
The Telegram channel listed the web sites of 31 main Russian companies and state organisations together with power large Gazprom, Russia’s second-largest oil producer Lukoil, three banks and a handful of presidency web sites.
