LVIV, Ukraine (Reuters) – Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk mentioned on Monday that Ukraine had “after all” rejected a Russian ultimatum for individuals in Mariupol to surrender and the situation in the besieged metropolis ere was “very tough”.
Russia provided to open humanitarian corridors from town from 10 a.m. Moscow time (0700 GMT) if residents lay down arms.
“Of course we rejected these proposals,” Vereshchuk mentioned. “The situation there’s very tough.”
