Lindsey Jacobellis gained her second gold medal of the 2022 Winter Olympics as she and United States team-mate Nick Baumgartner – with a mixed age of 76 – gained the inaugural snowboard cross mixed team title.
For 40-year-old Baumgartner, it’s a first medal at his fourth Olympics.
Italy’s first team positioned second whereas Canada’s equal had been third.
Great Britain’s Charlotte Bankes and Huw Nightingale completed sixth because the snowboard cross mixed team occasion made its Olympic debut.
