MELAKA: A 75-year-old girl died after being trapped in a burning shophouse on Jonker Walk on Tuesday (June 7) night time.

A Melaka Fire and Rescue Department spokesman stated in the 9.37pm incident, Koo Kim Foong suffered burns to a minimum of 70% of her physique.
