All options on table if Russia uses chemical weapons in Ukraine – UK minister

LONDON (Reuters) – All options can be on table in response to any use of chemical weapons in Ukraine by Russia, British armed forces minister James Heappey stated on Tuesday.

British Foreign Minister Liz Truss on Monday stated Britain was working with its companions to confirm the main points of stories Russian forces could have used chemical brokers in an assault on Mariupol, the place hundreds are believed to have died below a close to-seven week siege.

“There are some issues which might be past the pale, and using chemical weapons will get a response and all options are on the table for what that response may very well be,” Heappey instructed Sky News, including that British defence intelligence up to now had been unable to confirm the stories.
