KUALA LUMPUR: AWC Bhd
has secured a contract price RM7.12mil from Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) to improve and change the brand new cushion pad passenger seat.
In a submitting with Bursa Malaysia, AWC stated the tender submitted by its subsidiary, Trackwork & Supplies Sdn Bhd (TSSB) to improve and change new cushion pad passenger seat with a brand new comfy design for Electric Train Set (ETS) 93 Class and Six Car Set (SCS) 92 Class had been accepted by KTMB.
The contract is for a interval of 18 months starting Feb 15, 2022 to Aug 14, 2023.
“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the AWC group over the duration of the contract,” it stated.
