Red Bull Formula 1 team boss Christian Horner is under investigation after a grievance was made towards him, the corporate stated on Monday.
Red Bull stated it took the allegations “extraordinarily critically” and has began an investigation.
Horner, 50, oversaw Red Bull’s record-breaking 2023 season through which the team received 21 of twenty-two races as Max Verstappen secured his third world title.
Horner says he “utterly denies” the allegations.
“After being made conscious of sure current allegations, the corporate launched an unbiased investigation,” Red Bull stated in a press release.
“This course of, which is already under manner, is being carried out by an exterior specialist barrister. The firm takes these issues extraordinarily critically and the investigation might be accomplished as quickly as virtually doable. It wouldn’t be acceptable to remark additional right now.”
Asked concerning the allegations by Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, external, Horner stated: “I utterly deny these claims.”
Horner has been Red Bull team principal since they first began on the F1 grid in 2005 and has gone on to win seven drivers’ championships and 6 constructors’ championships with the team.
