Family of British man facing the death penalty in Donbas call for his release

LONDON (Reuters) – The household of British man Shaun Pinner who has been sentenced to death by a court docket by Russian proxy authorities in Donbas have spoken of their devastation at the information and requested he’s exchanged or launched.

“Firstly, our entire household is devastated and saddened at the final result of the unlawful present trial by the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic,” the household mentioned in a press release.

“Shaun needs to be accorded all the rights of a prisoner of struggle based on the Geneva Convention and together with full unbiased authorized illustration. We sincerely hope that each one events will co-operate urgently to make sure the protected release or change of Shaun.”
