First phase of PIP to be completed by end-2023

KANGAR: The first phase of the Perlis Inland Port (PIP) is anticipated to be completed by the top of subsequent 12 months and operational in early 2024, says Datuk Seri Azlan Man.

The Mentri Besar stated the mission would be in a position to enhance financial growth to profit all stakeholders, together with the folks of Perlis.

Azlan additionally stated the mission would create a variety of alternatives for the folks from the financial spillover.

“If the economic spillover is effective, it will result in thousands of job opportunities in the forestry, retail, housing and construction sectors taking place in Padang Besar,” he stated. — Bernama
