PARIS (Reuters) – French federation (FFF) president Noel Le Graet will write to Kylian Mbappe to remind him of his contractual obligations after the France ahead failed to attend a marketing event whereas on worldwide obligation.
“I informed him to come down and take part within the operations with the sponsors,” Le Graet informed French sports activities every day L’Equipe on Wednesday.
“At one level he was prepared to achieve this. Then he stated: ‘No, I’m not taking place’. What would you like to do?”
It was unclear why the 23-year-old Mbappe, who performs for Paris St Germain, didn’t participate within the picture shoot and who the sponsors had been.
The FFF didn’t reply to a request for remark.
“There will be a letter from the legal professionals which is able to be despatched to him and his lawyer,” Le Graet stated.
“We are going to see level by level what the issue is. We need to enhance issues and make folks comfortable, each sponsors and gamers.”
World champions France play Ivory Coast in a pleasant in Marseille on Friday and Le Graet is hoping to talk about the matter with Mbappe who won’t be sanctioned.
“Everything that’s sanctions all the time annoys me,” Le Graet stated.
“I do not like that phrase. But there’ll be a dialog. And there’ll be one other operation with the sponsors within the autumn, earlier than we go to the World Cup.
“I guarantee you that by then every part will be settled. There isn’t any arm wrestling. The little worries are half of life. Kylian will be on the pitch in Marseille and I hope he’ll be good.”
