Golf: Golf-Rose withdraws from British Open with back injury

ST ANDREWS, Scotland (Reuters) – Britain’s Justin Rose has withdrawn from the British Open with a back injury, the Royal & Ancient mentioned on Thursday.

Rose, who has struggled with back issues, had proven hints of misery on Wednesday when he deserted his follow spherical.

The former world primary and 2013 U.S. Open champion had been as a consequence of tee off at 0814 (0714 GMT) alongside Tommy Fleetwood and 2018 Open winner Francesco Molinari however was a no-show.

The Englishman was changed by Rikuya Hoshino of Japan.
