WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Protection Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered a four-star basic to overview a 2019 strike in Syria that induced civilian casualties, the Pentagon stated on Monday.
Pentagon spokesman John Kirby instructed reporters that Basic Michael Garrett, the top of U.S. Military Forces Command, would have 90 days to finish his overview on the civilians killed, the compliance of the legislation of conflict and file holding.
Earlier this month the New York Instances reported that the U.S. strike in Baghuz, Syria, killed as much as 64 girls and kids throughout the battle in opposition to Islamic State.
