(Reuters) – England might be bolstered by the return of a number of gamers from damage, together with centre Manu Tuilagi, for their upcoming Six Nations recreation at residence to Wales, head coach Eddie Jones stated.

Veteran centre Tuilagi continued his comeback on the weekend for Premiership membership Sale Sharks following a hamstring damage lay-off that pressured him to overlook England’s 20-17 defeat away to Scotland and 33-0 victory away to Italy.

“Potentially we’ll have Launchbury, Tuilagi, Lawes and Ludlam, so there are a number of that might come again into the squad,” Jones informed British media on Monday.

Tuilagi’s return could be a big increase for England, with the 30-year-old including firepower to the midfield along with his bodily presence.

“If Manu is match … I’ll have a chat with (Sale Sharks director of rugby) Alex Sanderson and Manu to see the place they’re at and whether or not he is acquired sufficient petrol within the tank to make the step up,” Jones added.

“Just having a power-running centre would give us a unique possibility.
