Ukraine’s Zelenskiy meets philanthropist Howard Buffett, discusses rebuilding

(Reuters) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy mentioned he had met U.S. philanthropist Howard Buffett, son of billionaire investor Warren Buffett, on Wednesday in Kyiv and mentioned methods to assist rebuild the nation.

“We mentioned help that might be useful for our state. I provided him the possibility to affix tasks restoring irrigation techniques within the Odesa area, supporting our individuals, (and) mine clearance,” Zelenskiy mentioned in a tweet.

Buffett is a director of Berkshire Hathaway Inc, the conglomerate based by his father, and CEO of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, which describes itself as one of many largest non-public charitable foundations within the United States.
